New Balance athlete Travyon Bromell really lives up to his motto of “speed“. The US sprinter won the 100-metre bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics held in Beijing, and with that he became the youngest sportsperson to win a medal in such a competition. Apart from that, the Baylor University student was also the first junior athlete to complete the 100m in less than 10 seconds – he ran the distance in 9.97 seconds. His personal best stands by a great 9.84 seconds from June 2015.

But it is not just on the running track that Travyon Bromell likes to give it gas. The New Balance athlete tells us about his driving style: “When I step inside a vehicle, I feel like I’m on the track. It’s hard for me to be slow off the track. It's all about speed, speed, speed”. He lives his passion for speed and cars at uni too, as part of the Baylor Car Club. As a result of his genuine and athletic nature, as well as his young style, Travyon Bromell became part of the New Balance at the beginning of this year.
