Our partner Under Armour has launched the very latest training shoe: the Charged Ultimate TR 2.0. Its construction and the technologies it offers all make this shoe ideal for intense workouts. The shoe is also worn by IBF world champion and 2012 Olympic champion Anthony Joshua during his training - the Brit will be going head to head with Wladimir Klitschko in Wembley, on 29th April. As we have this Under Armour product in our selection, we would like to introduce you to the shoe and its technologies:
The upper is made from light, yet extremely hardwearing synthetic mesh fabric. In the forefoot area, the shoe has a TPU layer that delivers stability and grip; it also makes the shoe even more robust. The especially developed Burrito tongue further improves support to the midfoot area. This function is also present in the heel, but is provided by the heel cap. It is clear, then, that the Charged Ultimate TR 2.0 offers full support to the entire foot.
The optimal damping is delivered by two elements. The first is the 4D Foam® insole, which adapts to the shape of the foot to keep it in position within the shoe; it also provides comfort to the sole of the foot. The second element is the Charged Cushioning® midsole. Apart from damping, this feature of the Under Armour shoe offers explosive reactivity. This means that you can feel every single jump, step and stance while training.
The outsole of the Under Armour Charged Ultimate 2.0 is made up of a non-marking rubber sole. It delivers optimal support, terse traction and great durability. The special tread pattern was developed for grip and traction on all surfaces.
In a nutshell, our partner Under Armour’s new Charged Ultimate 2.0 is a super training shoe developed for you to take your workouts to the next level. Anthony Joshua is not the only competitive athlete to wear this shoe - professional football player Patrick Peterson, from the Arizona Cardinals, and professional baseball player Bryce Harper, from the Washington Nationals, both use this shoe during their workouts. We have this shoe and many other new Under Armour fitness articles in our selection: you’re bound to find what you’re looking for here.
