In early October, our partner adidas announced that the first shoe to be produced in the company’s own Speedfactory in Ansbach would be the adidas AM4. Now, the three-stripe brand has also decided upon a final colour scheme for the shoe. The first of the AM4 shoe series will be the AM4LDN, which stands for “adidas made for London”. The second is the AM4PAR, designed in honour of Paris. In the coming months, the brand will also launch shoes inspired by Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Shanghai.
Extremely light stabilising elements, the famous BOOST damping and a much-improved durability are the results that adidas had wished from the Speedfactory. Ben Herath, VP Design for adidas Running, said: “The AM4LDN and AM4PAR demonstrates the potential of adidas SPEEDFACTORY to create products that are tailored through a data-driven co-creation process. Both shoes have been designed with input from local running communities of London and Paris – delivering what they want, when and where they want it."
What do you think of the grey adidas AMD4LDN, inspired by the streets of the UK capital? What about the white-and-red adidas AM4PR?
