The Free family is being joined by yet another member. Our partner Nike has launched the new Nike Free Trainer V7. The shoe combines everything you need for a tiring, dynamic HIT workout: a flexible sole and a stable fit. As we have this new shoe in our selection, we’d like to introduce you to it:

The sole is the typical one used in the Nike Free range: flexible in all directions and rubber-lined for extra grip. However, in the earlier Nike Free models, the flex grooves met at 90° angles, creating little squares. This was based on the fact that Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman created his first sole using a waffle iron - thus the name “waffle sole”. The new version of the shoe has a tri-star tread with flex grooves that create little triangles. These enable even more flexibility, dynamic motion and freedom of movement in all directions. This tread also guarantees an even pressure distribution.

The upper is made from extremely light mesh that provides breathability, which results in a comfortable skin temperature throughout your workout. The Flywire fibres and stretchy straps keep the foot fixed within the Nike Free Trainer V7 and ensure the shape stays intact during longer training sessions. Apart from that, they stabilise the midfoot and provide a good hold. The seamless finish is not only comfortable (because it prevents chafing) but also makes the Nike Free Trainer V7 very hardwearing. A super cool training shoe that is used by professional athletes like NFL star Antonio Brown.
