Every outdoor athlete knows how important it is to protect nature and to keep their own footprint on our planet as environmentally friendly as possible. But Schöffel shows us that this can be supported by wearing certain clothes with the new Schöffel 3L Charleroi Jacke.
We tested the revolutionary new softshell jacket for you during a stormy hike on the island of Reichenau on Lake Constance.
Functional Softshell jacket for once pure nature!
The traditional company Schöffel is known for reflecting the closeness and love of nature in the production and design of outdoor clothing and equipment. In the manufacture of the new 3L Charleroi Softshell Jacket, Schöffel is introducing a completely new membrane technology.
This, Schöffel promises, not only offers the best weather protection but also the best wearing comfort. The AIRMEM® S.Café® 3-layer laminate developed by Schöffel is a material which is completely waterproof and windproof. However, unlike standard softshell jackets, it is significantly softer and, thanks to the four-way stretch used, also significantly more elastic.

The Schöffel 3L Charleroi Jacket - incredibly sustainable!
The highlight of the new Schöffel softshell jacket is that they advertise with odour neutrality. Everyone knows how sweaty a hike in stormy weather can be and yet, after three hours on the road, the jacket's odour actually remained odourless as promised.
This is due to the recycled coffee grounds as well as the coffee oil, of which the new AIRMEM® S.Café® 3-layer material consists of 25%. By using the coffee grounds, the fabric of the jacket remains odour-neutralizing and also extremely breathable.

Schöffel 3L Charleroi Jacket: Natural and comfortable
Apart from the revolutionary use of materials, the Schöffel 3L Charleroi Jacket also impresses with its comfort and functionality. In addition to the figure-hugging but loose cut with raglan sleeves, the outdoor jacket is enhanced by a two-way zip.
Also ingenious is the use of mesh on the chest pockets, which can serve as additional ventilation when open. In addition to the striking but at the same time naturally matching bright green colour, it should not be forgotten to mention that the hood can also be customised. Schöffel has really left nothing to complain about here.

The Schöffel Pants Tight hiking trousers - the absolute wearing comfort
Probably the most comfortable outdoor pants, I have ever tested actually feel more like a second skin. This is due to Schöffel's once again conscious use of material with a mixture of polyamide and elastane. Thanks to this, the pants have a very pleasant stretch, do not feel like they weigh anything and adapt perfectly to the body shape.
The material also offers UV protection of up to 25 SPF, is water-repellent and quick-drying but still PFC-free. The trousers are generally cut to a fashionable slim-fit and thus also ensure trend awareness on the mountain. Furthermore, thanks to the materials used, they ensure absolute freedom of movement and comfort.
This is underlined by the use of an ergonomic elastic waistband instead of the usual zipper at the top of the waist. With the two zipped pockets underneath the waistband, the tight hiking pants are the perfect companion on the mountain.

Conclusion
Pure nature on your body and in your surroundings is what Schöffel lives for and every nature lover is guaranteed to share their passion and thus the enthusiasm for this new hiking collection. We are delighted with the Schöffel 3L Charleroi Softshell Jacket and the Outdoor Tight.
