Long-awaited, with leaked images and myths galore… the successor of the famous Roshe One finally has a release date. The Nike Roshe 2 will hit the market at the end of August. While designing the shoe, three main aspects have been the focus of development in order to keep to the “necessary-things-only” silhouette. Comfort is at the foreground, of course.
1. Comfort underfoot
The shoe offers a combination of a dual-density memory foam insole and a newly constructed outsole, which guarantees more flexibility; this means that the Nike Roshe 2 offers outstanding comfort underfoot. “[Footwear] insoles were initially used to cover up stitching at the bottom of the shoe,” erklärt der Chefdesigner Dylan Raasch. “Now, they are the first layer of a cushioning system.”
2. Comfort on the top of the foot
The Flyknit upper has a minimalist design in the Roshe, which means that the shoe can adapt perfectly to the foot. Raasch explains: “[All-day footwear] should basically be an adaptive glove for your feet.” The adaptable, sock-like fit makes the Nike Roshe 2 very comfortable on the top area of the foot.
3. Lasting comfort
Nike has the goal of ensuring wearers of the shoe feel comfortable all day long, whether standing or on the go. To achieve this, the shoe offers stretch material and a breathable design.
The end result is the stylish Nike Roshe 2 Flyknit. What do you think of it?
