The Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro have only just come to an end, yet our partner Nike is already getting ready for the next Summer Games. For the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Nike has developed a special new version of the Flyknit Racer. The modern shape of the shoe has been combined with a hand-coloured indigo blue upper. This colouring technique has been used for centuries in Japan and, when used on the shoe, it symbolises the ancient traditions of the country. The tongue on the Nike Flyknit Racer is also decorated with Japanese Nike branding.

Unfortunately, this shoe has been designed for promotional use only, so production is limited to just 100 pairs. This chic shoe will not make it to the stores, but we have a while to go before the event in 2020 anyway.
