Once again we’ve received new shoe models from our partner Scarpa that will support you throughout your sports activities. We want to introduce you to three new outdoor shoes and tell you how they differ from one another:

Scarpa Epic GTX The brand new Scarpa Epic GTX is an approach shoe, which is a half-way shoe between a hiking boot and a climbing shoe that is perfect for going uphill. The VIBRAM® Etilas sole provides a firm grip for a secure stance on rugged terrain, while the EXOSKELETON reinforcement in the midfoot area delivers the necessary lateral support. The upper is made of waterproof suede and the GORE-TEX® membrane is also waterproof - it keeps your feet nice and dry. Thanks to the adaptive fit of the upper, the pressure on the hamstring and ankle is noticeably reduced.

Scarpa Hydrogen Hike GTX With the new Hydrogen Hike GTX hiking shoe, you’ll feel sure-footed on every mountain and trail. The stable SALIX sole from VIBRAM® offers excellent grip on all kinds of terrain. The upper is equipped with innovative GORE-TEX® SURROUND® technology, which makes the Scarpa Hike GTX both waterproof and breathable at the same time. Apart from that, the thermoformed EXOSKELETON reinforcement supports and stabilises the midfoot. All in all, a super stable, waterproof hiking shoe for ambitious hikers.

Scarpa Marmolada Pro OD Unlike the Hike GTX, the Scarpa Marmolada Pro OD is more of a mountain boot than a hiking shoe. As the name already suggests, it protects your feet from moisture not by using GTX technology but with an OutDry membrane instead. The VIBRAM® Drumlin outsole provides excellent grip on all kinds of terrain. Apart from having very functional aspects, the Marmolada offers some highly ergonomic characteristics too, such as the Autofit Collar, which adjusts to the foot and relieves any pressure on the hamstring. The foot itself is perfectly enclosed by the Ankle Padding system, while the Heel Tension system improves the stability of the heel area. A reliable piece of footwear for all of your hikes.
