Patrick “Blake” Leeper was born in 1989 in Tennessee without any feet or lower legs and has had to wear prostheses ever since, but he hasn’t let that stop him. His positive outlook on life and his passion for sports have driven the American to train hard and earn his position among the top track and field athletes in the world. He won two medals during the London 2012 Paralympics: bronze in the 200m run and silver in the 400m, just behind South African Oscar Pistorius.
