Both balance artists Nathan Paulin and Danny Menšík have interpreted outdoor sports a little differently to everyone else and have broken the world record for the longest slackline crossing.

In the French Aiglun, the two athletes balanced on a 1,020 metre long slackline held between two mountains. At a height of up to 600 metres, Menšík managed to cross the slackline barefoot in just 40 minutes. In the video you can get an idea of how difficult the task was.

The slackline was first carried up one mountain and then flown over to the other side of the abyss with the help of a drone and a fishing line.
