Even Italian winters have - at least in the north - a tendency towards harshness, cold and snow-covered mountain landscapes. Alpine regions remains Alpine regions. The inhabitants of Biella must have been correspondingly happy when in 1911 four brothers decided to offer the right clothing to the children sliding down from the Alps. It had to be warm, made of high-quality materials and also look good.

The plan of the Fila family was clear and yielded a manufactory which produced warm underwear from 1923. The foot in the door. FILA had opened the door to the world of sports and fashion slightly. The family continued to grow it over the following decades until it finally passed through in 1974. The brand handed Pier Luigi Rolande the pencil, and the designer designed the White Line Collection. A small revolution in what had previously been the only white-bearing tennis.

But one that didn't rip out the roots. It colour broke the monotony, emphasised individuality more strongly, created a new, timeless style. A crucial point. FILA uses Italian fashion craftsmanship to create styles that are cautious yet recognizable at all times - and that is true for all sports. Tennis was joined by golf, basketball, football, baseball and motor sports. At the same time, FILA products playfully merge sport and fashion to this day, so they have long since found their place in the streetwear.

Style does not exclude function; must not exclude function. In addition to the design, FILA therefore concentrates intensively on the materials and cuts of its styles. They should support athletes in their movements and react exactly to the respective demands. Thus, over the years, the brand has won over both, tennis big leagues such as Björn Borg and extreme mountaineers Reinhold Messer or NBA legend Grant Hill. All wore or wear shoes, shirts, hoodies with the big "F". FILA's iconic logo is never overlooked. It serves as a quality seal with a clear style message, lends a platform to the colours of the brand, the strong red and blue. Here, joie de vivre and passion (red), there seriousness and reliability (blue). You'll get all this as soon as you your first FILA product and you're in the stylish apparel of the Italian brand.

FILA's comeback came almost like a raid. Not that the fire had gone away. On the contrary. Nevertheless, in recent years it has once again pushed itself into streetwear awareness with a seldom seen emphasis. The big logo shirts now also belong on the streets of London, New York and Paris, as do the brand's chunky sneakers. But also away from Disruptor and Mindblower, outside urban asphalt walkways, FILA products deliver style and comfort in their purest form.

The tennis court is always the centre of attention. This is where FILA articles are rooted, where the brand cultivates its heritage; and provides you with the right equipment for the game between forehand longline, backhand cross and relaxed volley from the forearm. Even better. You can get FILA at Keller Sports. In our FILA shop you can buy tennis shirts as well as tennis tops for ladies, shorts and tracksuits, training jackets, caps, hoodies and sweatshirts. So you'll stand dressed up at the baseline and wait until you can finally reach for the return.

Björn Borg won a total of eleven Grand Slam titles with friendly Italian support. FILA provided optics and function, Borg talent and endurance. FILA without Tennis? Similarly unimaginable as tennis without FILA products. After Borg, the brand also equipped the very best of the sport, both Monica Seles as well as Jennifer Capriati and last but not least Boris Becker.

Today the former number one of women's tennis Karolina Pliskova and John Isner play in FILA-Wear. The Brand's styles are ideal for an excursion into streetwear, as well as adorning sports legends such as Alberto Tomba and Grant Hill. Whatever you can imagine to be sporty and fashionable, you will find the right style in the FILA Shop. And, of course, the right equipment for intensive duels on the tennis court.

Long since FILA is no longer exclusive to sportswear. Long since the brand has arrived in the fashion world. The process was accelerated by the brand's chunky sneakers, but FILA's other creations also provoke lastingly appreciative glances. So the brand teamed up with Fendi in the summer of 2017 and presented the result on the planet's catwalks. The beginning. FILA was already represented with its new collections at the Milan fashion week in 2018. Sportswear meets High Fashion. Athleisure made by FILA.
