AEVOR - FROM ERGONOMIC SCHOOLBAGS TO STYLISH BACKPACKS
The origins of AEVOR go back to a birthday party. In 2008, Florian Michajlezko, then 24 years old and a student of business administration, celebrated a friend's day of honour in Berlin. The conversation came on school satchels and a physiotherapist reported how she treated children with back problems because of their satchels in her practice. She does not understand why there are no continuously adjustable carrying systems on the market, as has long been the case with trekking backpacks. For Michajlezko, it was an idea he had always sought. Together with Sven-Oliver Pink and Oliver Steinki, he founded the company "ergobag", which has been producing sustainable ergonomic school backpacks ever since. Following its successful launch, the Cologne-based company was renamed the "Fond of Bags" in 2010. This was followed by the launch of six other brands under this umbrella - including AEVOR.
PET BOTTLES ARE RECYCLED FOR AEVOR BAGS
Since 2016 various bags have been produced under the brand name AEVOR. Inspired by the bicycle couriers from New York and London, the products are optimally adapted to a creative, flexible and dynamic everyday life. The design and functionality of the product are very carefully considered during the manufacturing process. The special thing about AEVOR backpacks and bags is the quality of the material. For example, the environmentally friendly label uses recycled PET bottles for about half of the outer fabrics of its products.
In 2016, the company received the German Sustainability Award and since then has been allowed to call itself one of the most sustainable medium-sized companies in Germany. In addition, the label cooperates with the Fair Wear Foundation for fair working conditions in the manufacturing country Vietnam. There is also cooperation with the bluesign system to keep toxic substances out of the production process. All AEVOR products are also officially "PETA Approved Vegan". This label verifies that no components of animal origin are used in the entire production process.

EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION IN AEVOR DAYPACK OR TRIP PACK
As an AEVOR dealer Keller Sports offers you numerous models from the current AEVOR collection. An absolute all-rounder, for example, is the 18l daypack cut into a V-shape. With its numerous practical functions, it is the perfect everyday companion. The 18 litre capacity is well thought out and offers you good organisation possibilities for your utensils thanks to various pockets and inserts. For example, there is a padded laptop compartment and another for a water bottle. A hidden pocket on the back is ideal for your passport on holiday. Most impressive, however, is the Expandable function of AEVOR products: With two simple steps the 18l-Daypack becomes a 28 litre backpack with enormous storage space. Even bigger is the AEVOR Trip Pack, which can be extended up to 33 litres thanks to its rolltop system - and thus, as the name suggests, is also suitable for longer trips.
RED DOT DESIGN AWARD FOR THE AEVOR 18L DAYPACK
Due to the numerous good ideas of the product developers, AEVOR articles win more and more new fans. The backpacks and bags are now available in over twenty countries around the world. There have also been plenty of awards. The parent company "Fond of Bags" already received the first Red Dot Design Award in 2011. One year later, the company won the enable2start Business Plan competition at the "Germany - Land of Ideas" event. The German Design Award, the German Sustainability Award and the German Entrepreneur Award have also gone to the Cologne-based company. Another Red Dot Design Award for the AEVOR Daypack followed in 2017. The jury explicitly praised the innovative combination of design and function with the special V-shape and the unique metal buckles.
