"Hybrid inside" is the promise of Tecnifibre about the X code. That is to say: Touch and Power of a multifilament string combined with the control and durability of a monofilament co-polyester string - this combination would otherwise only be possible if you use a specific lentgh and tension when stringing your racket.

The secret behind this technical breakthrough is Tecnifibre´s rigourous principal : several hundred polyurethane filaments are individually impregnated PU HD (High Density Polyurethane) and then twisted.

It used to be possible only with polyamide filaments, but now it´s exclusively polyester. The effect is really amazing: you still feel the soft, comfortable "TF-touch".

Nevertheless, the X code has a great control that shouldn´t stay in the co-polys´shadows.

The string actually provides  the properties of hybrid strings, without having to handle two different strings.

The life is obviously not as long as pure co-polys´s. The hybrid combination, will break later but the X Code multifilament is certainly more resistant than almost any multifilament string.

Conclusion: The X code is the tip for all hybrid fans who do not feel like fiddling with two different strings, and also for all the "poly-players" who have so far not dared to use multifilament strings.

Despite the multifilament construction the X code achieves on ball contact of the usual pölyester clanking sound, the black color also emphasizes the sporting and ambitious character.
