In a frame with 98 sq inc. head size this tournament racket more of a thoroughbred, especially since the Vcore 98D can be seen as the successor to the RDiS 100 98sq inc. The Yonex Vcore 98D has once again gone down by 10 grams so it’s now 305 grams. The swing weight is very low, Which makes the frame very easy to maneuver. This racket is quite well suited for technically skilled youth or ladies. For players with good athleticism and a very high level of play, however, might lack the mass to really get enough steam out of the racket.
The Vcore Technology, under a special section in the heart area, gives the racket more stability in this area and results in a higher tensional stiffness.
Conclusion: A sporty frame with very good control, due to the relatively low weight for technically skilled young athletes and women.
From Dagmar | Playing Strength: | 08 March 2011 I have extensively tested this racket from keller-sports.com and I am really pleasantly surprised. The racket offers great control and a great "rich" feel. In the volleys (where I frequently find problems) the racket was very stable. Returns reliably with a small withdrawal of power, whereby you can balance the right with a string or string tension. The total control is outstanding. As a result, I ordered two. - Thanks!
